Keep Terrebonne Beautiful is a non-profit organization established in 2000 whose mission is to empower the citizens of Terrebonne Parish to take personal responsibility to prevent litter and beautify the parish.
Keep Terrebonne Beautiful is an affiliate in good standing with both Keep America Beautiful and Keep Louisiana Beautiful
“This project that was begun and successfully implemented in Mandeville, LA. We would like to follow their model and establish this program in our parish. The businesses and organizations involved will be leaders in setting a good example of community stewardship for others to follow,” stated Wendy Billiot.
We are committed to keeping the waterways of Terrebonne Parish clean and litter free. This is why we have dedicated our annual "Great American Cleanup" projects to cleaning up our bayous. It all began with our Bayou Dularge Bayou Cleanup and soon spread to other bayous. In the past few years we have partnered with the Chauvin Community and Bayou Cleanup.
Through a grant from Keep America Beautiful, Keep Terrebonne Beautiful will be planting 140 fruit trees on public property throughout Terrebonne Parish.
